Borrowdale is reputed to be the most beautiful valley in England. Castle Lodge is situated in the heart of the valley, on a quiet lane near Rosthwaite. Step outside the cottage and you are welcomed by the magnificent sights of Glaramara, Maiden Moor and a range of Lakeland fells. Our traditional self catering accommodation consists of a comfortable lounge with open fire, three bedrooms, a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is private parking and an outdoor seating area to enjoy the wonderful sights of Borrowdale. We have retained the character of our Lake District cottage with antiques and traditional furniture throughout the property.
