Castle Lodge
Cosy Castle Lodge is a 16th Century Lakeland self-catering cottage full of rustic character, with old exposed beams and traditional furniture combined with fitted kitchen, modern bathroom and three comfortable bedrooms.
The Setting
The outside space at Barn House consists of a small yard with a convenient bench, table and chairs for you to sit, relax and perhaps enjoy a coffee or a well earned wine or beer. And if you have arrived by car there is private parking.
The Lounge
The lounge at Castle Lodge is centred around the open fireplace. There are comfy sofas on which to while away the hours it’s too dark to be outside and books, games and a TV to provide some entertainment, should you need it.
The Kitchen
The well appointed kitchen has the usual selection of electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine plus all the utensils you are likely to need. If you prefer to cook at home then the kitchen should not disappoint.
The Family Bedroom
The Master bedroom is a large room with a lovely comfy bed, just right for relaxing after a days walking or sightseeing. There is plenty of drawer and cupboard space and the views from the window are just magical.
The Twin Bedroom
The twin bedroom, naturally, has two comfy single beds and some great views from the window.
Bedroom 3 – Double
The third bedroom is also a good sized double and a great place to wake up, draw back the curtains and relax with a nice tea or coffee whilst taking in the views from your bed.
